The mission of the Community & Educational Affairs Department is to provide quality information and educational enhancements for high school educators and their students based on the majors FIDM teaches.

In our commitment to education and giving back to the community, FIDM created the Community & Educational Affairs Department in 1970 to serve high school educators, administrators, counselors, and students. We provide free classroom resources and offer grants and workshops to educators. You can also find career information for high school students interested in the industries of fashion, interiors, and entertainment.

All classroom resources have been developed specifically for a high school classroom using FIDM’s specialized expertise. All resources meet state and national educational standards.
