Findings
Items that are attached to apparel during manufacturing, such as buttons, snaps, hooks, trims, zippers, or embellishments.

 

 

Finished Fabric
Fabric that has completed all of its necessary finishing processes (i.e., dyeing, bleaching, printing) and is ready to be manufactured into garments.

 

 

Flexible Manufacturing Strategies
Adapting production set up and assembly to quickly handle a wide range of garments and styles.

 

 

Forward Integration
A growth strategy for company development by attaining control or ownership of its distribution arrangements.

 

 

Fringe Sizes
Apparel sizes that run either very small or very large and are available in limited depth due to the small market demand.

 

 

Full Package Contractor
A contractor carrying out all of the production steps for a garment including fabric purchasing, cutting, sewing, trimming, packaging, and distributing.
