Waste
Any activity that uses a manufacturer’s resources (e.g., employee time, equipment, materials, space) without adding actual value to the final product. Some examples of waste are clothing defects, waiting between processes, excess inventory or reloading.

Wholesale
The sale of products to a retailer for resale, typically in large quantities.

WIP
Work In Progress. A product that is in any stage of completion, from raw material to finished garment.

WTO
World Trade Organization. The international organization that supervises trade rules between nations.
