Salicylic Acid
An antibacterial, skin-softening ingredient that comes from willow bark. A main ingredient in beta-hydroxy acids, it helps exfoliate dry, flaky skin and prevent and heal blemishes.

Shea Butter/Karite
A buttery emollient from the fruit of the West African karite nut tree. The nuts contain oil called beurre de Karite. An extremely effective ingredient in sensitive skin care products, winter sports products, moisturizers, hand creams, body lotions, shampoos, and conditioners. Alleviates dry skin. Traditional uses include: treatments for dry skin, blemishes, skin discoloration, scars and wrinkles, a relaxer for stiff muscles, and even a sun screen.

SPF
Sun Protection Factor. A scale for rating the level of sunburn protection in sunscreen products that ranges from 2 to 45, with 2 being the least protection and 45 being the most.
