Vendor
Also called a source or supplier.  The individual or company from which raw materials or finished goods are purchased.

 

 

Vent
A term used since the 15th century to indicate vertical slits in garments, usually from the hem toward the waist. Used in coats, gloves, jackets, shirts, and suit coats.

 

 

Vest Suit
A pantsuit in which the pants and vest are designed to be worn together.  A long-sleeved blouse or shirt is usually worn underneath the sleeveless vest.  Popular in the 1960s.

 

 

Vicuņa
Hair fiber from the vicuņa, a species related to the llama, which is one of the softest fibers known. Colors range from golden chestnut to deep fawn. The Peruvian government limits the number of animals that can be hunted; therefore, the fiber supply is very limited and very expensive.
