Dashiki
A colorful garment worn by men in West Africa. The formal and informal styles range from tailored suits to simply-draped. Traditional female attire is called a wrapper.

Décolleté Neckline
A low-cut neckline revealing the neck, shoulders, back, and part of the chest. Also known as a plunging neckline.

Dickie
A false shirt-front worn with a tuxedo, usually attached to the collar and then tucked into the cummerbund. The rigid, plastic version was in style toward the end of the 19th century. They were known for being waterproof, stain-resisting, and staying sleek, bright white, and unwrinkled. This made them a favorite among musicians, entertainers, and performers. The plastic dickie has long since been out of style, but cloth turtleneck dickies can still be seen today. Also known as a tuxedo front.

Double-tee Top
A layered look with two T-shirts, usually sewn together.

Dropped Shoulders
A style where the sleeves are falling off the shoulders.
