hairline
Very thin rule or key line. There is no definitive measurement, but between 0.125pt and 0.25pt seems to be a generally agreed upon range among designers and printers.

halftone
In traditional publishing, a continuous-tone image photographed through a screen in order to create small dots of varying sizes that can be reproduced on a printing press. Digital halftones are produced by sampling a continuous-tone image and assigning different numbers of dots (which simulate different sized dots) for the same effect.

high resolution
A bitmap image that has a high pixel resolution. Photographic images that have been scanned and that are intended to be used for printed reproduction must be high resolution. Usually defined in terms of 'pixels per inch' (PPI).

hue
Hue is the actual color of an object. Hue is measured as a pure color (on the color wheel) in degrees - for example, degrees/variations of blue which vary from a green-blue or sea-blue up to a purple-blue.
