Figaro Chain
This type of chain (usually a necklace or a bracelet) utilizes the design that alternates rectangular and circular links, typically one long rectangle followed by three smaller round links. The Figaro chain, which is similar to the curb chain, has flat links without uniform size links.

Filigree
This technique produces an ornamental design created from twisted threads of fine gold and silver wire.

Flush Setting
Also called the gypsy setting, this setting style sinks the entire gemstone into the jewelry metal so that only the top of the stone is visible.

Fob
A jewelry item described as a short chain or ribbon attached to a pocket watch and worn hanging in front of the vest or waist or an ornament or seal attached to such a chain or ribbon. Can, also, be a short chain with a decorative seal or other device attached to the end
