centralized buying
Buying for all retail branches from one or a central location, such as corporate headquarters or the company's buying offices.

 

 

channel of distribution
The path a product or design takes from the designer or manufacturer to the consumer.

 

 

collection
A grouping of clothing or accessories designed and produced for a specific season.

 

 

customer service
The retail establishment's service delivery response to providing assistance and courtesy to all consumers who purchase their goods or services in person, by telephone, via fax, or online. Intangible, but identifiable, activities performed by a retailer in order to sell goods and services.

 

 

customization
Product or service creation or design to meet specific consumer needs or wants. A promotional strategy of creating buzz by customizing items for one's consumers. "The ability to cater to a market of one," says Adobe.com.
