Lace
Ornamental openwork fabric.

 

 

Latex
A milky fluid found in certain cells of some seed plant families. It is the raw material from which rubber is made.

 

 

Linen
Cellulosic fibers that come from the flax plant stem or a fabric made from these fibers. Linen fibers are stronger and more lustrous than cotton. Cool, absorbent fabrics that wrinkle easily.

 

 

Loom
A device or machine for weaving cloth by interlacing a series of vertical, parallel threads (the warp) with a series of horizontal, parallel threads (the filling).

 

 

Lustering
The finishing of yarn or fabric by means of pressure, steam, friction, heat, etc. to produce a shining effect.
