Domino
A half mask worn over the eyes at a masquerade.

Doublet
Short, fitted jacket, usually ending at the waist and close-fitting, sometimes with short petals below. Worn from the 14th century to circa 1670.

Duster
Light-colored, full-length linen or canvas coats worn by horsemen to cover their clothing from trail dust. They typically had a slit up the back to hip level for riding on horseback. At the turn of the 20th century, both women and men were wearing dusters to protect their clothes while riding on dirt roads in the open motorcars. In the 1950s, a duster became known as a woman's button-front, knee-length, unfitted housecoat that could be worn over underwear while cooking or performing housework.
