About Us - Advisory Board
about the contest

In recognition of the essential role high school educators play in supporting our post-secondary school system, FIDM’s OCEA/Office of Community & Educational Affairs was established. Our goal was and is to elicit the input of established dedicated educators with a deep-seated interest in the current state and future of their graduates.

To expand and improve our educational products and services, we called upon the expertise of individuals who utilize our programs in the classroom, the media center, and anywhere that their high school students are being invited to learn and pursue their academic aspirations.

how to enter

Our goal is to bring together educators, specialists, staff, advisors, policymakers, and experts to inform FIDM about the high school community’s classroom instructional paradigm, learning initiatives, new legislation, Board of Education policies, and any other educational institution issue.

Since its beginning, the Just for Educators Advisory Board members’ role has been to act as both informed advisors to FIDM/ The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and as liaisons to the educational communities from which each member comes. Board members are accomplished, prominently known, highly qualified individuals who lend their credibility to FIDM via their advisory position.
