By being on the FIDM Educators’ Board, it is my hope to learn more about what is expected of my students when they attend there. I want them to be prepared to succeed in the industry. Having the contact with the industry as FIDM does broadens the knowledge of the educator.

The website dedicated to educators will give educators more tools for the classroom by using the activities therein. Having this connection not only adds to the teachers’ enthusiasm, but energizes the students, too. When students learn about the careers within the fashion business, it changes the class from being just an elective to a step towards a career.
