I believe that high school students should be encouraged to pursue their passions and talents and should, therefore, be guided to explore the post-secondary opportunities that will support their strengths and goals.

I enthusiastically accepted the invitation to be a member of the FIDM Just for Educators Advisory Board because it presented an opportunity for me to develop an understanding of educational options for students that are not necessarily available at traditional colleges and universities.

I find the web site provided by FIDM, which is devoted to high school educators, to be invaluable. The information and opportunities provided for classroom teachers help them to bring to life the academic studies required in all disciplines.
