I agreed to be on the FIDM Just for Educators Advisory Council first of all because it was such and honor to be asked and being an alumna of the college made it even more intriguing. I wanted to be able to voice my thoughts and ideas from both sides, having gone to the college and now teaching in the field I felt this would be a great opportunity to not only learn but to see it from all angles.

My vision for this website is to be able to help offer endless possibilities, ideas and information for High School fashion educators to better prepare their students for their college education.

My education philosophy is to encourage students to “reach for the stars”; they are there for the taking. And to never question their abilities but to challenge them. This is their time in life to shine and to give it 110%--no matter how great or small the assignment might be.
