They will research new products and determine which were successes and which were failures. They will then create a presentation to reveal their findings to the class.

This hands-on activity will allow students to investigate their senses of smell and learn what is involved in becoming a perfumer. They will research the demographics and values of their target audience and develop a marketing plan that will hopefully attract customers to a brand new scent.

Many well-known fashion terms have their root in the French language. Many times, if there isn´t an English term for a fashion word, a French word is directly used, such as avant garde. Students will become acquainted with these words as they compose an essay in French, integrating fashion terms, in which they will critique a current fashion designer&s collection

Fashion laws vary from country to country; each country has its own set of rules to protect designers and their designs. In this activity, students will have the opportunity to research both French and American fashion laws. They will then engage in a debate surrounding the topic of Copyright-Intellectual Property laws.
