- FIDM is not only a 2-year college but also a 3-year college and a 4-year college.
- Our Specialized Associate of Arts Degree with majors in the global industries of fashion, visual arts, interior design, and entertainment, is the education foundation for all of our students.
- We offer a 2-year specialized Associate of Arts degree for high school graduates or a one-year Professional Designation Associate of Arts Degree for students who come to us with a completed college degree.
- Although we have many academic partners and articulation agreements, FIDM’s Associate Degrees are not fundamentally designed as transfer vehicles to other institutions. They are an “end result” education preparing graduates to successfully enter their chosen career.
- Our graduates also have additional educational options which are uniquely FIDM graduate programs.
- Graduates from any of our majors can apply for our Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management which can be completed in two additional years. Our B.S. students begin ahead of the game with industry knowledge from their foundation degree. We build on this foundation to further enhance their corporate management or entrepreneurial opportunities in their chosen field.
- Graduates may also apply for one additional year in our Advanced Study Associates of Arts Degree program, which offers further intense immersion into the student’s chosen major. Some Advanced Study programs include exciting travel components. And we’re known internationally for our annual Debut Fashion Gala showcasing the work of our post-degree students from many Advanced Study programs such as Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design.
