Could a teacher grant help you buy the software you need in your Graphics class, supply your Clothing classes with new sewing machines, take your Art class on a field trip to your local museum, or purchase any other item on your classroom wish list?
FIDM will help by providing teacher grants of up to $1,500 awarded on a merit basis. Seven teacher grants will be awarded each semester. We encourage you to apply each semester until you win!
Our goal is to challenge educators to consider fresh and new ways of teaching. Applicants must propose an activity and explain how it connects their curricular area to one of the following FIDM majors: Merchandising Marketing, Merchandise Product Development, Beauty Industry Merchandising & Marketing, Apparel Manufacturing Management, International Manufacuturing & Product Development, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, Fashion Design, Textile Design, Jewelry Design, Footwear Design, Theatre Costume Design, Film & TV Costume Design, and Business Management.
