Held several times a year on all four campuses, the Open House is a great way to experience the creative and inspiring campus vibe and find out what it’s like to be a student at FIDM. Students, alumni, and Admissions Advisors are available to answer questions.

The FIDM Museum hosts a variety of fashion and entertainment exhibitions throughout the year, including its renowned Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibition. For your ongoing enjoyment, the FIDM Museum Blog showcases selected garments and accessories from the Museum’s fabulous collection and occasionally features behind-the-scenes glimpses of museum life.
Each summer, FIDM’s four campuses offer an educational program for high school students called 3 Days of Fashion. Students from across the United States participate in hands-on workshops and learn about fashion career options.
In this workshop, students learn basic sewing with a professional twist as we guide them through the process of making a skirt. At the end of the workshop, they have a finished skirt incorporating some of their design ideas. Click here to find out more.
