You are invited to join us for Educators Day, an exclusive event for educators only (no student groups) that begins at FIDM’s Los Angeles campus.
On this informative and entertaining day, you will:
- Travel to FIDM LA on your own or board one of the FIDM buses leaving from various locations in Southern California.
- Arrive at FIDM for a behind-the-scenes peek at costumes that made the year’s films so memorable.
- Tour FIDM’s state-of-the-industry Los Angeles campus where fashion and entertainment intersect.
- Shop the fabulous FIDM Scholarship Store, Museum Shop, and The FIDM Store, and receive a special 20% discount for educators.
- Enjoy a magnificent luncheon at the Biltmore Hotel while listening to a panel of FIDM Alumni working in the entertainment industry and a current FIDM student. Celebrity and FIDM Alumnus Nick Verreos will emcee this TV-style talk show. Nick starred in Season 2 of Project Runway and is a fashion commentator for many red carpet events such as the Academy Awards®, Golden Globes®, Emmys®, and the GRAMMY® Awards.
- Play the game “Star-Struck.” Read up on all your favorite celebrities, and you might win a wonderful prize!
- As the grand finale, experience FIDM’s legendary DEBUT 2012 Runway Show from the best seats in the house at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
