Clubs & Scholarships

FIDM encourages student participation in high school clubs focused on business, marketing, and design. That’s why we offer scholarships to students who are members of Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA); Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA)

DECA is a global organization that focuses on preparing high school and college students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. A $500 scholarship to attend FIDM is awarded to students who are DECA members during their senior year of high school. Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)

FCCLA is a national organization that addresses important personal, family, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education. Members have opportunities to expand their leadership potential and develop skills necessary in the home and workplace. A $500 scholarship to attend FIDM is awarded to students who are FCCLA members during their senior year of high school. Visit fcclainc.org for more information.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

FBLA is an education association preparing students for careers in business. Students who are members of FBLA during their senior year in high school are eligible to receive a $500 scholarship for their first year of tuition at FIDM. My FIDM Fashion Club Scholarship Competition

Any student member of an approved FIDM Fashion Club Chapter (Club Leader/Club Member) is eligible to enter the My FIDM Fashion Club Scholarship Competition in the spring of either their junior or senior year. 

One winner is selected from entrants in their junior year to receive a full one-year scholarship to attend FIDM after their senior year. Additionally, two winners are selected from entrants in their senior year, and each winner receives a $5000 scholarship. FIDM Fashion Club Presidential Scholarship

This $2,500 scholarship opportunity is open to all Presidents of official FIDM Fashion Clubs! To be eligible for this scholarship, the graduating President must hand the club over to a new President for the following school year. Learn more about this opportunity at MyFIDMFashionClub.com

FIDM Fashion Club “Active Member”

Any student member of an official FIDM Fashion Club Chapter (Club Leader/Club Member) who has attended 8 or more FIDM Fashion Club meetings during the academic year in which the FIDM Application is submitted is eligible to receive a $1000 scholarship. FIDM’s National Scholarship Competition

Once a year, FIDM runs a National Scholarship Competition. Open to high school seniors and graduates, students enter to win a full one-year scholarship to attend FIDM. Six awards are given, totaling more than $150,000 in scholarships. To enter, entrants are asked to submit a project according to the guidelines set within specific categories: Fashion Executive of Tomorrow, Interior Designer of Tomorrow, Graphic Designer of Tomorrow, Fashion Designer of Tomorrow, Visual Designer of Tomorrow, and Digital Media Artist of Tomorrow.
